حروف ندا (Interjections)

حروف ندا کلماتی هستند که به یک جمله برای انتقال عواطف یا احساساتی مانند تعجب ، انزجار ، شادی ، هیجان یا اشتیاق اضافه می شوند. جملات زیر را در نظر بگیرید :

.No, go away
(در این جمله NO حرف نداست )

.Indeed, I intend to leave as soon as possible
(در این جمله Indeed حرف نداست)

حرف ندا از لحاظ دستوری به هیچ بخش دیگری از جمله مربوط نمی شود.

انواع حروف ندا در انگلیسی

حروف ندا در اثر بروز احساسات و هیجانات ناشی از تعجب، وحشت، خوشحالی،تأسف، مخالفت، تحسین و تنفر به کار میروند و بایستی بعد از این اصوات همیشه علامت exclamation mark(!) گذاشته شود.

علامت گذاری یا نقطه گذاری حروف ندا (Punctuation)

آز انجایی که حروف ندا انواع مختلفی از احساسات را منتقل میکنند، نشانه گذاری آنها هم روشهای متنوعی دارد:

علامت تعجب

علامت تعجب رایج ترین علامت استفاده شده برای حروف نداست، مشخصا برای احساسات قوی همچون تعجب، هیجان و عصبانیت استفاده می شود.

نقطه یا کاما

برای بیان احساسات ضعیف تر کافیست از نقطه یا کاما استفاده کنیم:

علامت سوال

اگر قصد دارید از حروف ندا برای بیان عدم یقین و عدم اعتقاد استفاده کنید مناسبتره که از علامت سوال برای نقطه گذاری استفاده کنید:
