برای مشخص شدن و فهمیدن تفاوت کلمات although و though و even though و in spite of و despite به مثالهای زیر توجه کنید:

although و though و even though و in spite of و despite تماما دارای معنی یکسانی هستند برای بیان مغایرت و تضاد کلی به کار می روند ولی در ساختار متفاوتی به کار می روند میتوانند در ابتدای و وسط و انتهای جملات به کار بروند مانند :
▶️ Despite the rain, we enjoyed the festival.
▶️ We enjoyed the festival, despite the rain.
کاربرد in spite of / despite
⭕️بعد از despite / in spite of از اسامی (ضمایر – جراند ) استفاده میکنیم
▶️In spite of the rain, they held the football match.
.با وجود بارش باران ، آنها بازي را برگزار كردند
▶️I didn’t get the job, despite being completely qualified.
.با وجود اينكه كاملا واجد شرايط بودم ، آن شغل را به دست نیاوردم
▶️She felt sick, in spite of this she went to work.
.حال او خوب نبود ، بااين وجود سر كارش رفت
▶️ They never made much money, in spite of their success.
▶️ In spite of the pain in his leg, he completed the marathon.

⭕️بعد از اصطلاح The fact that همواره از in spite of / despite استفاده میکنیم.

کاربرد although / even though
بعد از although / even though از فاعل استفاده میکنیم به فرمول توجه کنید :
🔰 Although + subject + verb
⚠️نکته : کلمه ی even though کمی قویتر بوده و از تاکید بیشتری برخوردارست.
▶️ Although it rained a lot, we enjoyed our holiday.
.تعطیلی به ما خوش گذشت گرچه بارون شدیدی بارید
▶️ Although the car was destroyed, no one was hurt in the crash.
.اگرچه ماشین صدمه دید، هیچ‌کس در تصادف آسیب ندید
▶️ I enjoyed the course, although I would have liked more grammar practice.
▶️ Although we saw each other every day, we didn’t really know each other.
▶️ Even though she spoke very quietly, he understood every word.
▶️ She didn’t get the job, even though she had all the necessary qualifications.
▶️ even though I was really tired , I couldn’t sleep last night.
.شب گذشته خوابم نبرد با وجود اینکه خیلی خسته بودم

کاربرد though
▶️Though it was raining, we went swimming.
.هر چند هوا بارانی بود ، ما به شنا رفتیم
▶️She doesn’t know to use the internet, though she is educated.
.او نمي داند كه چه طور مي توان از اينترنت استفاده كرد، اگر چه او تحصيل كرده است
▶️Even though we had planned everything carefully, we couldn’t succeed.
.اگرچه ما همه چيز را با دقت طراحي كرده بوديم ، نتوانستيم موفق شويم
⚠️ نکات بیشتر:
1- كلمه though به عنوان يك قيد مي تواند در انتهاي جمله نيز بكار رود :
▶️The room was very small. It was so comfortable, though.
.اتاق خيلي كوچك بود ، اگرچه خيلي راحت بود .
2- كلمات in spite of , despite نيز براي بيان تضاد بكار مي روند اما بعد از آنها نمي توان يك جمله بكار برد بلكه پس از اين كلمات فقط يك اسم ، ضمير ، گروه اسمي و يا اسم مصدر ( ing + فعل ) استفاده مي شود .
