"I went to the airport yesterday." 
دیروز به فرودگاه رفتم.
"I met Bob last week."
هفته پیش باب رو دیدم.
"I was an hour late for my meeting."
سر قرارم 1ساعت دیر رسیدم.
"I went to the bus stop, but I was 30 seconds late. A person on the street told me the bus just went by."
به ایستگاه اتوبوس رفتم ولی 30 ثانیه دیر رسیدم.یک نفر در خیابان بمن گفت که اتوبوس همین الان رفت.
"I was being polite so I opened the door for him."
چون مودب بودم در را برایش باز کردم.
"I stapled the papers together to keep them organized."
برای اینکه کاغذها مرتب باشن بهم منگنشون کردم.
"I switched the presents around because I found out Jane doesn't like red lipstick."
هدیه جین رو عوض کردم چون فهمیدم رژ قرمز دوست نداره.
"I was very interested in the topic so I paid close attention."
چون از موضوع خیلی خوشم امده بود همه حواسم به ان بود.
"I rode my bike to school."
با دوچرخه ام به مدرسه رفتم.
"I built the house from scratch."
با هیچ امکاناتی خونه ساختم.
"I sat on the chair next to the emergency exit."
روی صندلی کنار خروجی اضطراری نشستم.
